Salt Rock is a long time Monkey with a style heavily influenced by graffiti. Salt grew up in Stockton California. Eventually he became interested in tattooing, so he found work at In to Skin. For 2 years he learned under their guidance. After 2 years of extensive learning he decided to move to Wisconsin Dells WI. There he worked at his brothers’ shop, Evil Mind Tattoo, for another 2 years. The cold eventually became too much and so Salt moved back to California. Salt decided to take a break from tattooing, and worked odd jobs for a year.

Eventually the pull of tattooing was too much and he found a home at 12 Monkeys. Salt has been at the shop for 4 years now and now attends tattoo conventions and expos across the U.S. Through those he expands his style and of course promotes 12 Monkeys Tattoos.
